I'm from the Houston area and my son's a college ball player. I have visited your site many times after finding it on hsbbweb.com. Son's just signed to play in Alaska next summer after great experiences in the TCL and the Jayhawk leagues.

bballfan4life: awesome that your son is playing in the ABL! I just signed up here because I've started an ABL blog and I want to get more into the summer ball community and all that. I'm from Alaska originally and am a HUGE fan of the Alaska League. Anyway, yeah, that's also a good intro post for me I guess!

I appreciate the welcomes and the link especially. I've already added the College Summer Ball to my blogroll on my site, and linked to this forum as well. Also, every Saturday I do an Odds & Ends post, and I'm going to write a little blurb with a link to this forum there too.

My name is Jon and I am from Massachusetts. I graduated from Wesleyan University and now I'm in the midwest working in baseball operations.
I played in the Boise Collegiate and Hawaii Collegiate Leagues so I follow those the most. In the past, I also have tried to get down to the Cape on occasion to see the talent down there. I'm trying to stay involved and keep following summer leagues because they presented me with some of the greatest opportunities of my life! Go summer ball!

Hey Andrew - thanks for this forum and website!
The college team that I will be following this year will be the University of Tampa, and would love to see them win it all in Cary next week. My son has committed to play there next fall.
I will also be following the Swampdogs, this will be my guy's second season there and we are very excited for him. The CPL and the Swampdogs provided him with the most enjoyable and competetive baseball he has ever participated in, night after night after night!
We are looking forward to making the drive up and catching a few weekend games this summer.
