I think these are becoming more important with the direction that summer college baseball is headed, i.e. more professional, and some leagues/teams are with the times and some aren't at all, or are still stuck in the '90s.
So, what does a good summer league website need today; what should they avoid?
Any real great or horrible examples?
Current content, updates and working links are key, in my opinion.

A good summer league website has to have updated rosters, easy to navigate stats and basically be updated with information fairly quickly.

Content, content, content! Up to date fresh content. Rosters, schedules, box scores, stats, news stories, players of the week. oh, and it should look like its from this century

I agree with all the comments made above about fresh content, easy navagation etc. each team in league should be very aware that these site are used by the FAN make it simple to use with alot of info. The league web sites need to be updated better and content better to get fans and new players interested in our leagues. Using twiiter and facebook also is a new anvenue for fan response and awareness
