Morrow tried to work through shoulder injury freshman year at TXST with little success. Shoulder was finally getting better during short time with Victoria Generals (TCL).
Counting the playoffs he threw 20 inn at Victoria with 1 run allowed which was earned. The Generals are putting together another good team for their 2nd year in the TCL.

Covey Morrow originally signed with team in Kansas(Jayhawk League) but after a month of putting up with their little league mentality(favorites playing no matter their skill level) he came back to Texas and luckily found the Generals. I am not sure why the coach of a team would have someone come that far to play only to sit them on bench while most all other pitchers threw no matter their results. From what I gathered I think the coach had something against D1 players. I kind of got side tracked a little, my point being the Generals have a great attitude for the game and its players. That is a big plus after the grind they go through in college(athletics and academics).
