I figured that I might as well add something to the board.
My surprise pick for Omaha in 2010 would be Sam Houston State. They've got a good team, with some solid juniors and seniors. They also play in a real tough conference. Should be interesting.

I like SHSU (It's where I went to school), but I'm not sure they are even one of the 2 or 3 best schools in the conference. I think UTSA and UTA are better right now.

SHSU always seems to have a good team and they will be a tough competitor this season as always. I am a little biased but I have had a chance to watch TXST in the fall and through intersquad this year and they appear to be a much better team than last year. TXST has a much deeper pitching staff with 5 ligit starters and a very deep bullpen. The offense should be just as explosive as last year making this years team the favorite in my opinion to run away with the conference. But having said that it's bball and whoever can come together as a team can challenge. Can't wait!

I like Florida Gulf Coast. They're stacked with returnees and have a shutdown ace in Chris Sale. I think that FGCU is a lock for a Super Regional appearance and definitely has a great shot at making Omaha.
