It looks like Konstatine Diamaduros is going to return to Forest city. He originally signed with Kotuit I think. Does anyone know why he won't be playing in the Cape after all?

Yea, KD's had a rough spring (stats are down) so Cotuit just says "No TY" KD is happy to be back in FC though.

I knew his numbers weren't great, but everyone that I've talked to, says he has a "great upside."

Cotuit just says "No TY" KD is happy to be back in FC though. I went and looked at the Cotuit site and the coach is a real "winner". He has released almost 1/2 of his original signees. I did some checking and found out he was no fun to play for and further found out that KD was happy to get to come back to Forest City. He told some friends that he always wanted to go back to forest City, but his coach and some baseball scouts told him he couldn't turn down Cotuit's offer to play for them. Looks like it will work out for everyone. Also looked at his numbers and all that is down is his average. everything else looks as good as his freshman year.

I love guys who have the guts to spurn the big bad Cape Cod League. Two thumbs up KD and good luck with Forest City!

Thanks for the info dialing8. I agree that you "can't" turn down a Cape offer, but let's be real honest guys, while the Cape is still the premier league, both the Coastal Plain League and Northwoods League are catching up. Heck, even most of the "lesser" leagues aren't shabby anymore.
A MLB scout told me last year that it isn't so much where you play summer ball, it's if you play summer ball.
